We’ve had some interesting stories/complaints from people complaining about gym etiquette.

And we’re not talking about those old issues that are always covered up like – when the sweat runs down, wipe it off. Bad smell, really annoying habit of crawling or not re-racking (leaving them around or re-racking when someone uses weights)

This gym etiquette and behavior and general awareness of other fellow members is getting worse as young people become addicted to their smart phones.

The main problem lies with people spending time on social media/ their phones especially during gym time. They sit at the device and stare at their phone, take selfies, apply filters to selfies, type, listen to music. No worries for others waiting to use the equipment

Time to call in the gym police?? We think so. And that responsibility rests with the management and trainers of the police (maybe they can be renamed as promoters).
